Just imagine how much better the league would be without them teams. The full league would become competitive again. Look at how many clubs start of season target is survival. Unless you are newly promoted that shouldn't be your start of season target, but it is for a number of clubs because of the money thrown about by the clubs up at the top. Then you get passed that point and set a target of trying to get top 10 if you do manage that you may look at top 8 then it stops. All because them players who have got you to the top 8 get snapped up by these clubs just to go sit on there benches. Then you start again with another hope of survival and rebuilding. If it did happen we wouldn't have as much talent in the league, but it would still be full of good quality players and football. With nearly every team each year being able to think they might have a chance of winning the league or getting a champs league place. Every game being exciting to attend. I think it would be brilliant but also think it will never happen.

    Let them go.

The PL is made up of 6/7 premier sides going for the chance to play in the Champions league. The rest of us scary round trying to make 40 points.

Those who don't get relegated to be replaced by three others who will scrat around for 40 points.

Let them go, get sides like Leeds, Forest etc back, cap wages, limit the amount of foreign players in an 11.

Start giving more money to sides in lower leagues.

Personally I dont watch the CL anymore anyway. It will become an F1 procession and go tiits up so if they want to come back make them start in the conference.

Would love to see it happen just for this.

Sir John Hall was talking about us being in a European League in the 90s.
There again before we got into the Prem. he was talking about joining the Scottish League.

Right or wrong at least the man had ambition wanting to build a new ground along with cinemas, bowling alleys etc If the petition had not blocked the new ground I think he would still been at the Toon.He had looked at clubs like Sporting Lisbon and wanted to build a similar multi sports club.
