What is the crime though? It’s a honest question. If you burn an effigy on a bonfire every year, which we do, is it not a crime too ? The trouble is it is subjective. the Greenfell thing would upset people, but it isn’t a crime. As for your view on 1984, I was using it in jest.

Things are changing, you can’t assume someone’s gender or in one guys case today (see sky news ), age !! He identifies himself as a 45 year old and wants to challenge it. Well I identify myself as 68, so I want my pension please !!
