Relegation is far from success. It's the opposite.
Winning the championship twice is real success on a lesser scale to winning the premier league or champions league but nevertheless it's a success.

Continually qualifying for Europe.... getting to quarter, semi and actual finals does (in my eyes) count as success.

Hall and shepherd had less debt, WITHOUT raking in £100m telly money.

Look at all the players bought by Hall, they were ALL sold at a profit or money back. By the time the shares were distributed only £15m had been spent nett.
