RIP Phil, and my deepest condolences to his family. He could never remember my name, but I always answered whatever he called me. Will be sadly missed.

Very sad news. Phil was a real Notts County stalwart and a genuine character too. Always had a smile to greet you (even if he couldn't remember your name which I think was a common trait). He will be sorely missed but not forgotten. RIP my friend and condolences to the family.

I didn't know him by name, but I regularly came across him at reserve or youth team games selling tickets to aid things like the development squad. There is no doubt he bled black and white, and he is the sort of diehard supporter we can't afford to lose. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
