That could be any game though.

Ahah true, but Bury are third favourites for the title after MK and Lincoln, score a lot of goals, have scored four goals four times this season already, against us, Cheltenham, Macclesfield and Grimsby so have proved they can put teams at the bottom away quite easily.

I'd have chosen an easier game to try and lure in some new fans but you never know we might surprise them.

The fact that Bury have scored lots of goals makes it an attractive game (potentially) to have this kind of deal on. Bury will come and play, they will actually try and win the game. Or we could wait until someone like Morecambe who are garbage, who will come and try and contain, Notts will huff and puff. The game will likely finish 0-0 or 1-0 either way. The Bury game could yield a lot of goals and entertaining football.
Any potential paying customer wants to be entertained, the Bury game could and should provide this. People like us, who have the emotional attachment to Notts would happily watch a dour 1-0 win, because it’s about the points (especially at the moment)

I suppose teams at the bottom, like us, are at the bottom because they CAN be put away quite easily.

We've got two home games between Christmas and New Year. I'm assuming it is an attempt to get as many people down as possible because with us being at home on Boxing Day the Bury game has every chance of being very poorly attended. Mind you, thump Grim-sby and Macc Lads and we should expect a bumper crowd regardless!

Yes I know but not by four goals every week. I thought I was pointing out something fairly uncontroversial but never mind 😀
