Just got in. According to Bet365 we’ve had 61% possession, 7 corners against 3 corners, 8 shots (2 on target) against 6 shots (4 on target) yet we’re 3-0 down. The stats suggest we’re doing OK, the score suggests same old, same old. What’s occurring? Do I bin the stats?

Unfortunately the fact we have now played every team in the league has shown us what kind of side we are. One in which as a unit when we go a goal down we have very little fight, confidence, hunger and passion to get back in the game. We are so dangerously fragile defensively it is frightening. All in the fourth tier of English Football. The level of goals we have conceded this season to date must be unprecedented at any level in all our long 156 years unbroken spell in the football league, never mind the 4th tier.

It’s easy to become downbeat and depressed about it especially when we are playing a team in the bottom 1/3rd of the table and have been comprehensively beaten, but we have half a season left in which to turn it around. The January transfer window opens in just over a weeks time, so we have hope with this.

The thing is turning on the players at games will achieve nothing. During games we’ve got to get behind them no matter how angry or frustrated we maybe.

The Macclesfield home game on Boxing Day is a huge game and is massive. We really need to get the win and three points before we face Bury at home a few days later.

Bad times. We are a complete and utter shambles and it’s a disgrace that a club of our long league standing has ended up sinking so low. How did we end up like this?

We ended up like this because 99% of the players are a disgrace to the shirt, have no skill, no desire and could not play at school boy level. Match rating....minus any number you can come up with for the lot of them.

Wonder if NA might reorganise the defence at half-time. Only my opinion but I would switch Milsom to LB move Jones in front of him giving him more opportunity to get forward- I would also take Vaughan off - bring Tootle on at RB & move Hewitt back in to midfield.
