We are where I thought we would be. Told pals we wouldn’t be out of the bottom six. Disappointed in RT atm he’s hit and miss in too many games. Rodak, Vyner, Raggett, Robertson, Mattock.
    . Ajayi
    Forde, Towell, Vaulks, Manning

    .Smith.

Ajayi sat in front of back four, he’s quick enough to cover Vyner and Mattock allowing Both wide players to get forward more than they do now.
Two up front doesn’t work away from home. Both looked like statues up front at Bolton. Two midfielders and a striker in January ha ha ha
Would take fourth from bottom now.
Off to Bristol and expecting nothing

You not a fan of Williams? Tbh I think he offers us a outlet like Taylor did in league 1
Agree we need a midfield and a striker though Ajayi in midfield. Does he really convince you he could play the holding midfielder role?.

Tbh in a ideal January I would
Snap there hand off if offers of 1.5 million for Aj and vaulks 750k came in..
Agree with your back 4 though Jones could be the experience we need ATM.

I said a few month ago I think Forde could be the holding midfielder we have needed he's deff not a winger in the championship. He can tackle and pick a pass

Smith needs help uptop and with these players we need to play 5 in the middle. Tbh I'm not sure of a answer unless PW/TS splashes the cash

I do like Ryan Williams and rate him. Unfortunately he doesn’t look like he’s going to score either out wide or playing behind Smith, impact player for me, same as Joe Newell. Manning usually takes a good penalty. Free kicks, pens and long throws into the box is what we’re good at atm. Disappointed Billy Jones hasn’t been involved too much up to now.
Ajayi would make a good temporary midfielder till someone better is found.
Needs someone to hold onto the ball in midfield.....sometimes it looks like our players can’t wait to get rid. Someone to slow the game down as and when required. I will be amazed if they splash the cash.
4-1-4-1 away from home and 4-5-1 at home.

Check out some of Blair Alston’s goals - a goal scoring midfielder

Williams is hit and miss and he can’t shoot.
Agree he gives us an outlet and should start in front of Taylor imo.

Ha ha, thanks for that Lincs. 👍
It brought memories back when we had a half decent strike force.

Looks like my half a shandy friendly bet with cayton is about to go down the ‘ pan ‘ Towell has ‘ left the building ‘
Time for Raggett to play alongside Robertson with Ajayi and Ben Wiles in midfield. 👌
