Don't know how you reached this conclusion Taintedice. The DFCSS board were asking their members about the idea that DFCSS should sell their A shares to FPS. Nobody spoke up in favour of this proposal, and my impression was that nobody thought it was an idea that could be accepted until FPS provided a lot more justification for asking for the sale of the A shares. There were repeated comments about wanting to help FPS, but the point that seemed to carry a lot of weight that the AShares were designed as a bulwark against any majority shareholder. It was not in any way a specific measure against FPS.

You have got the lack of cooperation completely the wrong way round. DFCSS have been excluded, despite offers from DFCSS to discuss ways to help the club. The community aspect is not as straightforward as might appear. It might be much more beneficial for the club to have the community outreach managed by the club. This is one of the areas that a bit of clarity from FPS might be very helpful.

One of the restraints which forms part of the A Shares restrictions relates specifically to amalgamation. I don't know how you feel about that possibility but I would imagine that if, without any consultation with their members and the wider fan base, DFCSS sold the A shares and then FPS announced a merger with our neighbours playing at Tannadice, there might be a wee bit of unrest.

The people involved are all trying to do their best for the club. You can help by raising the issues that worry you. I know you distrust the motives of DFCSS. That's your prerogative and it helps to encourage scrutiny of what is going on. What do you think DFCSS should do about the AShares?

DFCSS minutes have always been sanitised to protect identities and some financial information before being published on the website. Any historical minutes that have been in the public domain will be of no use to the character assassinators on this forum even if they can be found.

Don't take him seriously BC. He thinks Jim McIntyre is involved in a plot to weaken us and strengthen United, incredible really.

I'm hopeful that all Dees have the well being of the club at heart. Must admit the signings have not been as quick or as impressive as I had hoped. Never thought it could be sabotage!!!

That is what I thought. It's absolutely standard stuff but it would be nice to see them restored. Funny how the written word is still valuable. Reminds me of 1984 novel where the written word was replaced by propaganda pumped out by Big Brother over the airwaves

im certainly not out to do a number on anyone and realise that you havnt pointed the finger at me,but just want to make clear that there are many many dfccs meeting minutes within the storage area in the back office, right at this moment however i dont have time to start putting them up on here,as im a bit busy with other stuff at the moment

Good to know DFCSS won't be selling the shares, matter closed. I'd have thought the issue between the two parties is the director who tried everything he could to keep FPS away from the club in 2011, hard to fathom that this individual is still allowed involvement on the board. As for amalgamation, FPS currently have £3m of shares in a company worth about £100k. They're not going to be able to carry that over to a new company/club, are they? Nonsense scare story, and as soon as DFCSS confirm they are keeping the A shares, then all good.

I'd be happy to help assemble the missing minutes and send them to DFCSS for publication on their website.

what a lot of utter pish, there are years worth of minutes missing, all chronological covering DFCSS's behaviour during their time in charge and how they got there. you should also remember you claimed you left DFCSS because of the individuals involved at the time, now you're back to backing them up.

Would be good to see them Shaded.

Yes anything that could be attributed to people will have been, but reality is that much more is discussed than made public, as BCram says it's standard practice to do this.

There are two lots of minutes, full minutes and abbreviated minutes. I don't want to cause any trouble but will say that there is a hole in the recorded minutes and the missing documents were not found in my time there so possibly DFCSS might be interested in getting any that you have.
