    Leeds United Post Match Thoughts

Better performance, some positive signs but the same old result as top teams do what they do, punish mistakes. It's almost February and we are still out of the bottom three but for how much longer? Does today's showing at least give us a glimmer of hope even with the knowledge of some of the fixtures coming up between now and May?

    Thoughts?

    Proud of the lads today!

We're back to being competitive. Nothing more than we as supporters deserve but I feel that the players deserved more today.

We are out of the bottom three but will possibly drop down there Tuesday if Reading beat Bolton.
Once we are there that’s where we will stay IMO. Quality wins games and we have very little if any at all. Can’t fault the team for effort but effort alone is not good enough.

At the game today. V good first half for Millers but Leeds just had too much possession second half. We sat back too much. V disappointed but some good signs. Can’t lose possession as easy as Yates did against a good team like Leeds. Not sure why he was brought on to be honest.

Usual story. A good first half and good goal by Ajayi. Sitting too deep second half and the inevitable happens. We have no out let at the moment when we are under the cosh. We are not that far off being a reasonable team in this league but we must address this before the window shuts or we are doomed.

Best players: Both full backs ie Jones and Mattock. Towell good first half not so good second same with Vaulks. Thought the new lad looked useful again when he came on. Certainly gets stuck in.

Think we should get another forward and just go for it now particulary at home because we cant defend for 90 mins. So 4 4 2 for me now Warney.

I'll be the first to post it. We looked far more solid with Jones at right back. I thought we played well in first half good move for the goal. Mattock man of the match for me. Can't see that Semi is a midfielder, he was supposed to be playing in front of back four but looked a bit lost at times and didn't pick up a player enough, but took his goal really well. Sad about first goal I think that's the first blooper I've seen from Robertson. 100%better than last week, they deserved to come away with something, but sat too deep in second half again.

Think we proved in first half we can actually play then they come out 2nd half to sit ****ing back to which Warney has said we don’t do that, what games does/has he been watching then?

Cheers for walking off pitch lads (apart from 3) and didn’t acknowledge fans especially the ones that stand there to end and applaud you

Yates only had to get rid of ball instead of messing about then they score from it
    What a strike from Ajayi
Jones should be at RB if he isn’t injured
    Mattock MOTM

Don't know how the players must be feeling, yes a decent first half performance, but i am sick to the back teeth,of seeing us get beat every week.

Two lucky breaks win the game that's why they are top and we are down the bottom simple
