Did anyone think Brenford appeared a better team than Leeds, or was it because we played much better this week than last?

Imo Leeds played better than Brentford but we turned up for one and not the other

Broke down pre-season 2017, opted for surgery with 18m rehab. Contract now expired and he's signed somewhere else
With changes to the loan system, we've got to be extra careful about signing injury-prone players. Under SE we would have just brought another loan player in to cover the gaps if some player broke down - we can't do that now. I hope that you are right about the problem being just sheer bad luck, and that we get an injury-free run soon.

I’m not sure if you thought that was criticism but it wasn’t, it’s a sort of tackle you’d expect in a lower league game is what I was on about.

Crooks obviously needs game time and fetching him on later in games where possible is the way until he’s ready and then I think we might have a good player .

All the team seemed to be much more up for it this week, and you could pick out a few potential MoMs - Jones, Mattock, Vaulks. Towell and Forde had good first halves.

I was about to post in the match that Ajayi seemed a bit lost, and the first half he was playing very high, with Vaulks holding, then he went and scored, great goal.

Felt sorry for Yates for getting caught, but he had enough time to make a pass or clear it. Lets not make him a scapegoat.

On another day with the same effort against a lesser team we may have won.
I don’t think anyone is making Yates a scapegoat?

Agree it was two mistakes, Robertson/Rodak and Yates

Yates will be blamed for the second goal but there were also opportunities to stop their players before they scored.
Don't know if anyone agrees but it often seems to me that some of our tackling is pretty ineffective and the opposition gets away with the ball when they shouldnt.

Better performance overall but sat too deep second half. They dominated the ball well and for me will go up.
Some of the substitutions didn’t make sense but we were better overall.
    Cracking goal from us.
Onto Millwall next week for 3 points.
Hopefully we won’t have to be having confrontation with there fans all game.

I thought the subs were strange ones but then again when you look at the bench...
I thought Ihiekwe would have been on bench

Some don’t rate Williams but imo we definitely miss him on wing
Wiles got an ankle injury, don’t know yet if he’ll be back for weekend game but I don’t think he would have made much different playing against Leeds

    So what happened to Wiles?

    Was he dropped?

Surely he would have been better coming on for Taylor than Yates?
