Thread: Is Robbie’s job safe ?

    Is Robbie’s job safe ?

Sacking Robbie would have been unthinkable under the MM regime.
But we’re under new ownership now with a guy who is adamant we need to be in the top league.
And at the minute it’s looks unlikely we can win the league.
Will the new management persevere with Robbie if form doesn’t improve or bring their own man in.

regardless of what happens the rest of this season RN should be given the summer to build his own team.

one poor result v ayr and suddenly questions being asked of RN by some fans? some fans need to get a grip and have some realism about how difficult a job he has. its not just a new team he needs to build but also a new mentality. there are still too many of the old regime within the squad. he cant just change everyone in one january window. yeah alot of his signings played v ayr and didnt perform either but its still early days. too early to judge imo

It would be a disgrace if Neilson wasn't given the summer and beyond to truly build something

Hopefully Ogren recognises this, I believe he will allow RN that chance

I dont have any evidence to back it up, but i have a feeling that Robbie was the first part of the new regime that was installed earlier than planned. Just a gut feeling, lets see where this ride takes us.

Just to be clear I’m not advocating Ogren should sack

It would be a huge injustice if RN Wasn’t given a complete season to set up his own team both on and off the park.

Lets be perfectly clear - RN should be given at least the summer window. Through mismanagement and incompetence a clown was in charge and allowed to bring in players on contracts of 2-3 years. Players who are average at best and down right pathetic at worse. I hope for a couple more signings and then see what they can offer. Our defence is terrible and midfield worse in my view. No fight in midfield but at least Frans and Bouhenna look like they care. If we are still playing like this by end of season in a formation that is laughable given the players we have questions will be asked but I really think we will see an improvement. If not I still trust RN more than that clown.

I don't think his job is safe. Not at all.

Agree. Let's jump in the Tardis to Saturday 16th Feb and assume we are out of cup and we've lost at home to Morton then away at Queens. Then it's an interesting question.

That team on Friday and on a number of other occasions looks unfit and unmotivated. Needs sorting out pronto. Let's start by dropping Fyvie Stanton McMullen and playing the 3 subs from Friday. And getting 2 up front as Safranko can't be a 1 unless the 3 behind are close behind.

By the way I would love 3 WINS....
