TTT I think it reflects how poor a squad we have but I hope it’s the start of us building a team,I know he’s a loan player but we can’t just buy a team that start winning this ****ty league.

Think the boy will do ok & as things stand he's a chance of playing the remainder of the season for us at right back.
BUT...I'm not sure throwing him into the starting XI was a good decision.
Big Watson might have been a better pick in the wind & rain & may have been there to stop the cross for their goal.

Thought Seaman looked pretty decent, he also looked strong and energetic which will be a blessing in this team.

The goal could have been prevented if Sam Stanton or Booth had showed greater strength and desire imo.

It was a sh!te game but people would have been content with a 0-0 (although that would have papered over numerous cracks)

Watson wld nt have done any better and in my opinion the young lad, regardless how little time he had with the squad, was a better choice. Watson was severely turned over during our 5-0 humping by Ayr with the majority of there goals and assists came from the their left.

That’s a valid and frankly, worrying point to note. Ayr did exactly as they did at Tannadice - attacking down our right flank, with this time Seaman exposed at times with no one tracking back and helping him out. The difference this time is that the McDaid didn’t have an on form Shankland to pick out once in crossing position, otherwise it could have been exactly the same result. The fact that nothing seemed to have been learnt on what, let’s face it, was a pretty obvious Ayr tactic is at best concerning, at worst phucking frightening.

Will be good to see him in the coming games, especially as we will start to see the early stages of the rebuild taking place once the Jan signings are starting games together

how is gomis not getting any critzcism for the ayr goal btw? yeah stanton could have stopped the cross, booth could have won the header back post but gomis is jogging back and lets the boy who ends up scoring run past him. not saw one person mention gomis being at fault (not just at fault but still could have prevented the goal by tracking back).

P.s thought Seaman looked decent after struggling to start with will see what hes like in future games. i think it was a mistake to play him over watson imo. watson struggled v mcdaid at tannadice but i reckon if you got him pumped up and ready for it he could have stopped him (2nd half mcdaid done f all at tannadice)
