    Chris Brunt 400 n out

Let’s hope this is the last we see of him in the 1st team squad

Not just him to blame, Johnstone is a very poor keeper, over priced and over rated, time for Bond to be given a go, powder puff defending from Dawson, poor timing of subs again from Moore, the midfield were tiring long before the subs were made. Still picking the useless Kanu who couldn't hit a cows Arse with a banjo, Gayle wide left, ridiculous. Darren Moore I'm sure is a very nice genuine guy but a manager/ coach he is not, disappointed today but this is Abion, they always let you down.

Only my second game of the season.

Very impressed with Harper and Field and criticism of Kanu is harsh,he quite rightly got a standing ovation when subbed.

Nightmare moments by Barry and Brunt cost us the match, both seemed befuddled by age!

The substitutions were ridiculous and badly timed, the wheels fell off when Kanu was hooked.

Moore is utterly clueless and with David Wagner being available I’d be making the change now.

A decent performance undone by individual errors and poor substitutions.

Kanu, one decent game every so often, doesn't score, but tries hard, should be nowhere near a professional football team, but then he is a mate of the utterly clueless Moore.

Totally agree with all this Mick and your spot on assessment of Moore! I think you have a tad bit of Jet Lag though when it comes to your comments about Kanu - I would rather you get your boots on than that useless turd!

The bigger issue than Kanu is why the manager plays the most potent striker in the division ( Gayle ) wide on one side and the classiest and most intelligent striker in the division ( J Rod ) wide on the other side to fit Kanu in?

This is “management” of truly staggering numptitude!

My position has always been that Moore is a nice bloke but thick.

I saw nothing today to change my view on that.

Like I said when we were still in the Premiership, it never works when a club keep a caretaker manager that has been made up from a lesser job at the club, they never get enough funds, do not have enough input in signing or releasing players. Horrible situation coming from an owner that knows nothing about football...West Bromwich Albion have become a load of Chinese Junk.

    Very sad.

Could not agree more with you! To take off an energetic Field and replace him with a relic like Brunt was thick! Why do the defense keep making mistakes? When Big Dave draws some pictures it could dawn on him, there's a clown in goal who gives those in front of him zero confidence.

If West Brom were to make a change - it would be in April when it will be too late!

I'm told Field was replaced because he took a blow to the head and signaled to the bench that he was injured.
