Exiletyke I'm not in disagreement with you. Silly me just thought when we voted to leave the EU completely the single market customs union all politician's would get behind brexit. Politicians did say they respected the result but they haven't. That's why we are in this mess because most politicians don't respect democracy

May is living in a fantasy world. This government has had two years to sort this out and everything is still a shambles. Meanwhile the country slides further and further down the toilet. This government is the equivalent of our recruitment team - all show an no knickers

gf said quite plainly Switzerland is not in the EU
& your response was to tell him to do some research
    Was he right or wrong?
All the rest of your flapdoodle is typical of what's been happening with Brexit negotiations, just chuck other stuff into the argument which may be correct but only serves to cloud our particular water,as though it's not cloudy enough already
Have you been taking lessons from someone?

I said he should do his research (as to why Swiss does well in banking). You dipped into our conversation and dont think youve grasped the context of his reply to my original comment or my subsequent answer to him. But there you go. Clouded the water still further.

I notice Nissan has pulled production of the X Trail originally planned for Sunderland and taking it to Japan.

We were misguided into believing that diesel cars were clean and safe some time back by the EU and strongly supported by Euro friendly Blair in this country. The latest reports suggest that diesel is bad for the environment and throughout Europe there is panic in the car industry because sales are slumping.
