Your opinion on McIntyre is myopic in the extreme, it's based largely on performances by McCann's ****e not his players. McIntyre's record with Dundee to date is pretty much identical to McCann's between the start of the season and his punting so if McIntyre is the worst he's worst equal with McCann isn't he?
I said in an earlier post that people who deliberately take the contra position are called trolls - thanks for the confirmation.
kenny miller is now ****e? you are an incredibly strange individual, probably why you are able to fit in with DFCSS types. On the other thread, about the state of Dens, you deliberately took a contrary view because the OP was posted by RROS, similarly on here, because my opinion is that McIntyre is a dud, your view is he is something else, although you've yet to say what that is. Dundee beat Hamilton 3-0 and 4-0 with McCann's players, but could only manage a very fortunate 1-1 yesterday. Hole blown in your theory right there. McIntyre took the job in October with a target of 8th, which he obviously agreed with. Or did he say, yeah no bother, but I'll be shiite till January 31 when I get my own players in? Complete nonsense that a manager needs to sign his own team, have you managed to notice Kilmarnock since Clarke came in, they're in the Premiership. Used to be bottom feeders, now they're at the other end.
if McIntyre stays till the end, no idea. He's been there 4 months and still taking hidings from Fizzy Poppers. If St Mirren and/or Hamilton have a revival and take 10th, we're down.
Trying to attribute statements like 'Kenny Miller is now ****e' to me is a bit sad if I'm being honest - running out of ideas are you?
I've said since day one on the hose / state of Dens thing that I don't care about it and have had a laugh about it ever since with RROS who is a good poster and who likes a bit of banter, you should try that some time.
Judging a manager on a squad that he's clearly recognised as being not good enough is certainly myopic at best, he gave all the McCann duds a chance and they mostly failed, a couple were good enough and he plays them. He's changed the squad out now and time will tell on whether he deserves backing or not - for most sensible people his time starts now with a squad that is 100% his choice, not 17 games ago when he took over from the worst manager in DFC history.
I doubt when he took the job that McIntyre realised just how bad the squad was, after all he'll have heard McCann on TV and radio and read in the press how good he thought his squad was - both are professionals and I'd imagine McIntyre will have given him the professional courtesy of believing there was something there. We all knew McCann was deluded of course but to an outsider maybe he was believable despite only managing the one league win and seven league losses this season?
Let's take Moussa and Mendy - I doubt Jesus Christ himself never mind Steve Clarke could turn that pish into footballers. Deacon, Inniss, Boyle, N'Gwatala, Madianga, Spence, Kallman - which of them would you most like to see play against Kilmarnock on Wednesday? Who would you drop from Saturday's side to accommodate them?
