Right approach in my opinion. We all know that Johnstone and Brunt were to blame. We know it they know, In fact everybody knows it. Daws and Barry not at their best either

But I’m sure some on here want them to be publically humiliated.

If a player makes a genuine mistake, or has an off day ( like we all do ) it’s good management to try to make sure they recover. Give them another chance to redeem themselves and encourage them back. Not to crucify them. That is good management.
Of course if it’s a habit then action needs to be taken.

Dm has taken action in the past Nyom, Bartley, Burke, and Adarabioyo, were all given opportunities and have been replaced. Sako had gone. Brunt is now a bench option.

I expect Johstone has one game left to redeem himself, if that.

Big Dave has been masterful at trying to keep the squad positive. Not easy.

Think about the managers at other promotion chasing clubs - Leeds, Norwich, Sheff United- do you believe DM is better than any of them? or that he gets more out of the squad than they would?
Loving the club ain't enough- if it was any bloke in the Brummie Road can do the job.
This season is our best and maybe only chance - do you really believe DM has what it takes to get us out?
    I don't
