The other 200k isn't affected by anything we decide on Brexit. We have always had, and will continue to have full control over these immigration figures. But you can be sure if we reduce immigration from the EU, it will most definitely increase from the rest of the world accordingly.
Indirectly it is!...you can travel through Ireland if youre non-EU and end up in blighty

I bet you could have heard a pin drop when Junker told May she should have a look at Corbyn's plan as it had meat on the bones and was workable .

A tumbleweed blew across the table I'd imagine whilst May died for 2 minutes before regaining consciousness .

Corbyns plan (which is Starmas plan) involves staying and not leaving

How could I have any knowledge about your physical health? I do not stalk you.

I'm sorry to hear of your problems. Have you tried something low impact - swimming or cycling maybe?

It would come as no surprise to May that Juncker would like Corbyn's plan. What's not for him to like? A UK that takes rules without a say in making them - the continued jurisdiction of a European Court to enforce those rules - an inability to make trade deals with the rest of the world unless the EU agrees them and, in all likelihood, the UK continuing to contribute to the EU budget (they are not going to give the 'benefits' of membership for free).

It’s the Norway style zombie membership that May has spent two years trying to avoid.

I’m surprised that you are so keen given your ultra hard Brexit leanings of recent times.

In other news, I see that Labour is finally addressing its antisemitism problem. It's just a pity that they are doing it by trying to silence someone who speaks out against it rather than the anti-Semites:

Has anyone ever told you, you make a stonkingly good tory Kerr. You should stand at the next election. I won't vote for you of course but a lot of rich folk will.

Numerous times on this thread and others, Roly. It doesn't make it true though. I have no political ambitions. I know a number of MPs (of both persuasions), not many of whom impress me.

Are you happy with the Corbyn proposal? If so, what is the point of 'leaving' in that manner? Then again, maybe you don’t want to.

Didn't vote at the referendum Kerr. If there was another there would be a good chance I wouldn't vote then either. Don't get me wrong I dont like the EU one bit but I don't think we can suddenly come out of it and think that everything will be hunky dory. i understand the argument that the brexiters won the vote but not by much and just to write off nearly half the populations views just seems wrong no matter how democratic the vote was. I would also argue that the original referendum question was framed wrong.

We voted by 52 to 48 to come out.If labour or the conservatives won an election, with a margin of well over a million votes, do you think they would have said, we will implement some of your manifesto because it's only right.Certainly not,it would have been the winner's manifesto put into practice. So why are the remoaners constantly trying to water down the exit deal. The soft Brexit put on the table by Corbyn is a No Brexit and rightly ignored. We do not want to be still tied to this horrible corrupt undemocratic organisation.

Very GF. Put forward an argument in all confidence. Get it blown out of the water and then resort to abstract paranoid speculation. You've been learning from the Master!
