I'm here doing a recruitment event this morning. The bloody ground is taking a right battering in this wind. A massive sign has just blown off the roof off one of the stands and come crashing down into the seats in the away fans stand. So so fortunate that has happened now and not during a game, could have killed someone for sure.

I'd have thought that HSE would be there giving the all clear before any fans are allowed in.

Ha ha Froggy as if I would. Just talking to a tyke now, it's the Ponty end. He's just telling me BFC are the 5th wealthiest club in Britain with the new owners they've got. I'm chuckling inside thinking ya grounds falling to bits lol. Obviously it's not its a tidy quite impressive old style ground!!

It has kept a lot of its character. I especially remember seeing Ronnie Moore against the backdrop of that old stand they have. There must be a picture of it somewhere for me to remember that.

That guy sounds a bit like the Sheff Utd fans when they had that Arabian Prince make an investment.

Yes that's right. I asked him if he was worried that BFC was chosen by their Chairman when there are some massive clubs absolutely prime for a takeover. He said he chose Barnsley cos he got the club cheap,;20 million. Can't see it myself and I'd be sceptical if a so called Billionaire came snooping round our club.

I can't wait to get back into work! 2 1/2 years of beig ont sick and reconstructive surgery is coming to an end soon

I don't understand why people want to stay at home all day long and not get out there and interact with others.

On radio Sheffield loads of Barnsley fans have said that the chairman is selling off their best assets, in other words asset stripping.
That’s not what you’d expect from the 5th richest chairman in the league.
