    Scouts watching Vaulks

Cardiff and Sheffield United lead race for Rotherham midfielder Will Vaulks

Scouts from both Cardiff and Sheffield, plus a side in Italy 's Serie A , will attend Rotherham's Championship game with Wigan Athletic on Saturday to watch the 25-year-old in action.

Why would anybody bother to do this on a cold windy day?

There’s enough recordings of Rotherham games to see every player not just Vaulks.

You would only need to watch one recording, all the others would be exactly the same.

I know that that the standard of Italian football is not what it once was, but...
Also Mr. Chiropodist has already seen Vaulks play many times before - why would he need to send a scout for that specific purpose?
    Not very believable

Maybe they will make Vaulks “an offer he can’t refuse”

I doubt Sheff united can afford him there record buy is 3mill un less they reach the Prem .I expect TS will want more than that . Also there is the court battle for ownership going on between the Prince of bog rolls and Mccabe . Cardiff a good shout ticks Warnocks boxes as a grafter and they have the cash to do it. The Italy link i cannot see anything in that.

That’s a bit strange considering they supposedly paid 4 million for their new centre back ?

Sounds more likely, unless due to the decline in the standard of Italian football, Inter or Juve have decided to go "Route One" and need a long-throw specialist to get the ball into the mixer
