    But I'm with you on the result (if not the degree of abject misery).....

    Leeds 1 - 4 Baggies
    Couldn't resist the sarcasm about someone's varying opinion to yours hey? Unbelievable....

    I'm sorry, have I upset someone sensibilities by casting doubt as to who was "our best player" last night?

    I say again, if Hopeless was/is right, then we are right royally f00ked, and if anyone would care to show me the inaccuracy of that conclusion, I'm all ears (and eyes)

    So you weren't having a dig because he thought those players performed...and you didn't? Just can't help yourself... Feel sorry for anyone in your household that has to try to conduct a conversation with you! The man who is never wrong.....

    I wasn't "having a dig", I was suggesting the guy was wrong, and I'm not alone, and not just amongst other fans, see below;

    And again, (and I have no problem repeating it) if we have to depend on the likes of Harrison, Douglas & Brown for our "success" in matches between now and the end of season, we are truly screwed.

    No problem that you didn't think he was right about those players, but you could have just said you totally disagreed...and why. But are you honestly saying that you can see no hint of sarcasm with the way you responded to his "Douglas composure" comment? Really?? I'm sure I wouldn't be alone in noticing it. Anyway, they say leopards never lose their spots. Onwards we go.....

    Elland Road will be buzzing..big crowd..a bottle job on the cards.

    Can only see a West Brom win after last nights shambles!

    Leeds 0-3 WBA (Gayle 23.47,69)

    Play-offs here we come (hopefully)

    The most dejected I have felt all season.

    Where's Clive when we need some confidence building?

    So, I used sarcasm, and...? If we were in a pub having a pint and I said those same words in a sarcastic tone, would the intended recipient be all cut up and have hurt feelings (is he 12 FFS?)? Errr, no, I would hope he'd tell me to f00k off and either suggest its my round or buy one himself and we'd carry on discussing how wrong he is and how right I am. Problem with the written word, here or on other "social media" or anywhere else, is that there is no "tone of voice".

    So, we either stop using the rich panoply of word play that the English language makes available to us and just use words that have no possibility of "misinterpretation", (e.g. "I completely disagree with you", or some such 19th century derivative), or we depend upon the intelligence of those who read what we write that not everything is meant to be a "daggers drawn" comment. I prefer the former.

    Everyone can see you get a real buzz out of being confrontational. Forget the bull#****... And I won't respond further, as I know it will tear at your guts if you don't have the last say. As usual...
