Hayden the wanna away:The real story

Read this and tell me that you do not have respect for the man. Excellent open interview. Sad to lose him but you can understand why. Just as well Bill Shankly was not his manager!

Mind, he's definitely increased his value over what we probably would have got for him last summer or even in January.

Can't put my finger on exactly what he does but he's in the box seat alongside Longstaff at the minute....never thought i'd say that about him. And fair play to him...whatever his reasons for wanting to leave, he hasn't thrown his toys out of the pram...he's knuckled down and is doing a grand job at the minute.

True enough but I've got to agree with Ash. With his money it's a very short commute and when the babby's better and a bit older they could move up. I've lived in some right sh*t holes cos of my job over the years and so I've no sympathy with footballers when they come out with this stuff.

Not as bad as Jenas who said he couldn't get a good Afro in Newcastle

    Agreed.

Whilst i understand the view on the money. For me, the idea of being away from my son, just wouldn't be worth it. I'd take a pay cut to be close to him. So i can see where Hayden is coming from.

Either way, he wants to go and at least he's increased his value for us now.

personally i thought today he reverted to his previous role of sideways or backwards passing. not that he was alone in not being so good today.

i can't understand why his girlfriend and bairn can't move up here, as said its not flaming bangladesh or outer mongolia.

i also think his upturn in form is more to do with making sure he gets picked up by someone else.

either way, if he puts in decent shifts, fair enough. he can be replaced

Whilst i agree with this point.

I would actually add that when i broached us moving up to Newcastle for various reason etc. etc. (to be honest i even settled with just further north) Hannah was a blanket no, saying she didn't want to move that far away from her family.

So i don't understand but i do at the same time if that makes sense.

yes it probably isn'tthat easy, however i think if you are with someone who's job more than likely means moving around, then you should be prepared to go with them if they want you to.

I'm sure hannah would move if you were the only worker in the family and you were transferred to another town, city or county.

    Aye, fair point.

If i was earning 40K a week or whatever he's on, i would expect her to, to a degree it think.

Either way my point is (i think ) that i understand where he is coming from even if i don't quite agree with it - does that make sense?
