I'll bet Rigg was having a bloody hard time keeping his face straight for the photo? He is also a bare faced liar; Evans is on public record having told the Birmingham board three days before the window shut he was going nowhere until Summer. I'm not inclined to dig out the facts yet again, but probably because police numbers were falling for quite a number of years before the rise in knife crime kicked in. The real solution is to give police back all stop and search powers and instruct them to get back on the streets in numbers and use them, but then the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the PC Brigade will commence. We could have the Brigade of Guards, the Red Army and the US Marines on our streets, but if they were powerless to act they'd be just bloody useless as our joke police force is.

We did a very simple algorithm sinkov. The pattern of knife crime is remarkably similar, the most common time is between 16.00 and 18.00 and occurs where a lot of people are in transit (Tube Stations being the No 1 favourite).

I am neither a criminologist nor a rocket scientist but if I was a Chief Constable I would be deploying most of my resources at those times and those venues, but what the hell I'm just a p-i-ss-ed up Apache from Bolton.
