The difference being though that when he could sign for someone, he did, and it was Norwich. So it's not the same as Shinnie. This is more like the Jack scenario.

Yeah but that’s because someone came in for McLean,from July to January it was a done deal that McLean was going to the Huns according to many on here.It doesn’t automatically mean Shinnie is going to the Huns because he is letting his contract run down like Jack did.

I have said it already that Shinnie probably would sign for them if they are offering him more money but I just can’t see the Huns wanting him,where is he going to play?

They already have about 10 midfielders on their books.

McLean is a better player than Shinnie so it's fair to assume that a better team was going to come in for him. The fact that he signed for Norwich when he was actually able to sign for someone, makes it different to this situation and therefore we are now in a similar position we had with Jack.

That would make it more like Jack.
As it is, it feels like a Logan, albeit he may end up with offers that entice him away in the summer.

Jack didn't come out publicly and say he wasn't going to the Huns. So if Shinnie came out and said that then yes I would believe it. No reason not to.

If he signs for them and plays left back then that’s his international career down the toilet because he isn’t going to play ahead of Robertson or Tierney.
