If I thought I would help my club going forward then YES, I don’t think there are any Dundee fans out there that bought shares in the club to make money, again just my opinion

We talk about building bridges between DFCSS and FPS, well here is a great chance to start this off,

Even the elected officials can't claim ownership of the shares although some would have you believe that getting those shares into their personal ownership is all they're in it for.

In the event that DFCSS should dissolve there are rules governing how the shares can be transferred which I can't be bothered looking up the details of but essentially it's a legal requirement (Grrrr that darned FCA again Tannadice Grrrr) that they must be transferred to a similar organisation with similar aims.

Reality is that once you voluntarily put money into somebody or something then that money becomes the individual's or organisation's and they can use it in any way they see fit. You can't go back five years down the line and claim that the property or the assets purchased using your donated cash is in fact still yours.

So unfortunately JDFC your opinion that the money used to buy the shares, and by default therefore shares themselves, belongs to the fans that put the money in has absolutely no foundation in either law or fact.
    "Similar organisation with similar aims"

They cud donate to the Dabbie trust then?😁....*******s I knew that was the plan all along.

Apart from the aforementioned dab trust where are they gonna find another organisation with similar aims which seems to be to bicker with American owners of a football club.

The shares don't belong to the fans in law or fact is correct but morally they certainly do.

I'm not advocating they sell them for 8k but maybe dfcss should do a wee bit PR themselves and tell the fans what they would do with any mythical 50k-70k if the yanks paid up to 50%.

    Another wee point.

I've no read any dfcss member say they are worried about why the yanks want 75% of the shares.....just they ain't paying enough....that hardly strikes me as guardians of the club.

    All imho of course.

Some of the posts from the dfcss agitators on here are beyond belief. DFCSS did not pay fair value for these shares with their own money, they took them from the club using money raised by fans, 99% of whom want nothing to do with DFCSS. Hilarious to see one of them still thinks the FCA have an interest in DFCSS, even islay ran a mile from that embarrassment

    Just a thought.
DFCSS have cost the club over £1m since 2011, you'd think they'd hand over the shares in an effort to build bridges. The club would also have been liquidated in 2014 if forbes, deeranged, islay etc got their way and kept fps away

A wee bit unfair on Deeranged and Islay.....but when has this forum been fair😊

Curious taintedice....without comparing FPS to Dfcss...do you have total trust in Nelms and co or do you see them as best out of a bad bunch?

Nelms was meant to be running the football academy, not the club, so have to question his ability and whether he's worth a 6-figure salary. I don't trust him particularly, especially when it comes to hiring managers. Keyes who I do/have to trust wants him at Dens so not much choice but to suffer him. Deeranged and islay are uber-dfcss'ers and voted against fps in 2013 and want them gone to this day. Not harsh at all

    Ta.

Not had the pleasure of meeting Islay( he knows a good golf course though) but I have Deeranged.

Wouldn't have him Doon as an ubber-dfcss'ers ( I like the name) just a bit pissed off at the total inability of our club to move forward and I think he questions his sanity at times as to why he should bother (although he does like a queue)...like we all do I think.

I don't think Islayor Deeranged voted against FPS.....Cud be wrong mind you.

You have to take the dfcss'ers ( telt you I liked it) at their word that they don't want control or be part of an organisation that does.....whether the head honchos at dfcss have that view em no so sure and always suspicious.

Never met Nelms and since he never answers e mails I doubt I'll ever get the chance to question him or put some pretty obvious points to him.
