Bad move from Corbs. Another own goal and much as I don't like Chuka, not the time to do this. Stupid man
This is the thing isn't it , the current situation is far bigger than any one of them in the room and yet he can't sit down and at least see this meeting out to it's conclusion given that nobody says he has to agree with anyone .

That's as maybe, but what are you saying that Labour wants if they are willing to give up on a CU? It's not a difficult question. Unless you don't know the answer that is.

I'm plenty stupid enough not to know what the mechanics of that might be. But there are all the huge aspects of the sm, CU, fom, etc jam up for revision through a different lens, and one that a different leader with a cross party approach, that can trade focus and negotiate on aspects that matter most to them and compromise. Compromise. Compromise on a deal that can attract support from the members of the different parties that could then form a majority in the house.

No one can know what the outcome of that approach would be. But there's a good chance that it would be better than a deal that received the worst ever rejection in history twice over. Its humiliating.

Surely if she loses MV3 on monday she has to step down with immediate effect .

Getting humiliated 3 times under the present crisis is surely something nobody can survive .

She's not going to quit until she gets us locked into the EU until the end of time, then she'll put her feet up.

Nice one Theresa. Toneet she is blaming everyone else in the h of p rather than herself. She is completely off her trolly now. Corbyn should ask for a vote of no confidence now, I would be surprised if she won it. I think most Tory MPs would rather take their chances at A GE rather than have to put up with her any longer.

Oh come on raging. If you're sufficiently on the inside track to know that Labour are willing to compromise on the CU that appears to form the only settled limb to their approach to Brexit, you must know where they would be willing to shift to. So if a CU isn't a red line for them, what is?

What compromise do you anticipate in return for Labour giving up on their desire for a CU? What 'focuses' do you think can be traded?

And you seem to have forgotten that how ever many focuses are traded, Parliament alone can't come up with a deal. The EU might just want a say.
