I argue every year how important the cups are, both cups but fans don't turn up and sites like Pravda bang on about how unimportant they are and it's all about the league.

Now btw the same site has a topic saying how relegation wudnt matter....and a lot of the dfcss, ers agree.

It's totally bizzare that people don't want to win the oldest cup competition in the world and no fussed what league they play in.....mind you the same folk want to lower the price for wrinklies.

Our lack of success in cup competitions is staggering.

And for anyone who doesn’t think relegation matters....if FPS walk, we couldn’t even afford the rent at Dens after going down.

Make the matches more affordable to families and get rid of crazy patg prices.
Teams like livi, Kilmarnock and St Johnstone all doing better on lower budgets.

This seems to me like history about to repeat itself.

You trying to say if we were having a season like kilmarnock we would not be attracting more fans?
    I tend to disagree.

How you do that I have no idea but you seem to think all oap,s are rolling in it and that is just not the case. You could end up we dee fans who have followed the team for 50 years plus getting priced out of attending.

They generally have far more disposable income than youngsters.

I've told the story b4 of my dad buying me a season tic when I was 20 ( I just couldn't afford it) and that led to me buying one myself for 30 odd years on the trot when I got a bit better aff.

A bit of help when your young goes a long way.

You don't now suddenly become poor when you go on the pension, if your a poor pensioner you've generally had it hard all your days.

There will be exceptions to the above but I'd rather try and nurture support from the young.
