Following The Game At Burton This Saturday

We have 3 out of the next four games at Oakwell , Fleetwood , Shrewsbury , away at Plymouth on Easter Bank Holiday Monday and then the final home game against Blackpool .

I take the old cliche about taking one game at a time but you can't help but try and piece together the conundrums can you .

It's all there for us isn't it ?

Absolutely no place to hide if we can't get ourselves over the line with a run in like that .

Out of our run-in the two games which concerned me most were Coventry and Burton.

The Sunderland v Portsmouth fixture could be the day , fingers crossed that we get ourselves over the line .

That is the day we play our final home game against Blackpool .

By definition somebody has to drop points between those two and a draw would be the most likely result given the importance of the game , two well matched teams and Sunderland somewhat of a draw machine .

Having said all that we would have to be six points and have a significant goal difference over Sunderland to mark the Blackpool game as promotion day , Sunderland are at Fleetwood following their clash with Pompey midweek before they play their final game at Southend .

We could actually be promoted if Sunderland fail to win at Fleetwood which although welcoming would feel a bit flat .

I'll take it mind you .

If things carry on in the same vein , every game for all the top 6 are crucial , no easy games now , for our last home game v Blacky , drop ticket prices , let's have a packed out ground , KTF

    A can see it nar.

Similar to the Huddersfield-v-Barnsley Great Escape game--Sunderland and Portsmouth both need a point to go four points clear of us befooar the final day and set up a shooit art between them keeping us art onnit. Finishes 2-2 wi Sunderland keeper p1ssing ararnd fo last five minutes. Outrage on here.

Snow fooacast tomorra neet in Accrington area.

Well we will see where Sunderland are tomorrow night after their Wembley defeat and extra time to boot .

Away at Accrington is just about the furthest placed removed that you could be from 85k at Wembley .

Fighting for their lives are Stanley and I think they are more than capable of at least drawing the game against the Mackems .

I think we've pissed away automatic this season with silly draws at home Walsall and Plymouth games will be killer. No excuses for those two.
