That's true, ashamed to admit it but I didn't even shave this morning before coming out of the house. Potential shoppers are avoiding the downtown area after the sighting of a tall, dapper but stubbly Englishman whereas cities infested with lard arsed, denim wearing Americans are doing a roaring trade

    Steptoe's yard.

You yourself called it "vibrant", that's estate agent speak for "a bit stabby".

Basically it takes more than a shopping centre to make an area nice.

I go all around the area, the markets, venues and shops. Its a perfectly clean suburban area. What makes it shabby specifically for you? It's just like a busy part of Sheffield or Manchester. Can't work out your problem with it. Although I suspect that you're thinking more of the people than the cleanliness of the place itself?

It's not the worst Westfield I'll admit, that's in Stratford.

Oxford Street would have been more appropriate for the first Mi Store over here, they want to be the new Apple but Apple wouldn't have opened their first store in Shepherd's Bush/ White City.

The Stratford Westfield is 10 mins on the tube from us. It's exactly the same as the Shepherd's Bush. What on Earth makes it worse? The surrounding area is a few years behind on redevelopment than Shep's Bush but come on well since 2012 games with lots of new developments and improvements.

Again, are you just talking about the people populating these areas? If not, how are they different in terms of cleanliness and architecture to any other city in the UK?

Not really the same as Meadowhall or the Trafford Centre.

    That's not the Trafford centre.

And the man in the Stratford attack died.

There's gangs in Manchester and Sheffield too but they run wild in London, gangs attacking each other with machetes in broad daylight, there's loads of stabbings every day.

Online shopping is the safer option down there.

That's if they've not rode past on a stolen scooter and nicked your mobile!
