    What's going on ???
We just gift teams points so disappointing.
Correct Johnny. We so frequently only play the 2nd Half and gift teams goals galore. It’s a real paradox. If we went up we’ll get shafted every week as this board will not spend money but we are good enough when we apply ourselves to beat many teams in this division but our application at times is sh*te. Be careful what you wish for tbh as we ain’t Premier quality

I have to agree. There are definite gains associated with promotion and very probable implications of missing out. But all in all I would not be that disappointed if this particular Albion team missed out. I remember vividly Derby and think that we could emulate their 'achievement'.

Have to agree wholeheartedly with the above. The foundations of this club that were slowly but solidly built on as we moved into the new millennium have been totally washed away by an ineptness that beggars belief. The foundations have been damaged by the wish of instant success and glory.

Patience has been replaced by stupidity and to be fair it is not only the new owner and Jenkins who are at fault. Fans are calling for heads to roll on a regular basis further eroding the stability of the club.

Think of all the changes in the last three years and look back at where we were and where we are now. It was predicted by a few but wanted by many.

Hard times will surely follow, we are on that slippery slope. If we do somehow fashion promotion, it is most likely next season will be more painful than any other we have endured.

To go up or not to go up, that is the question! Keep changing my mind on a daily basis.

If we don’t invest heavily either way I can see us struggling next year. This squad isn’t good enough for the Premier and will disintegrate if we go down. If we had a recruit department worth their salt and a decent owner I think we could do well if we go up or stay in the Chumpionship.

However in my opinion we have neither and therefore I think going up or staying still next year are both frought with massive danger. I am trying very hard to not say ‘We are doomed’ but many will think that is pretty accurate.

I really cannot think of a realistic positive scenario at this point. Promotion would be a very miserable even embarrassing year ahead with this boards attitude but then staying in this league and most likely going backwards isn't great either. A rock and a hard place. In all my years of following Albion since a school kid in the late 70's, just once it would be nice to have one owner who isn't miserly or a complete charlatan but has a degree of ambition that is more than avoiding relegation.
