Shocking Lack of Communication from Club

Jenkins should hang his head in shame!! No communication - no plans - no strategy and
    F uck the supporters!

What’s he hoping - a win on Saturday and everything is rosy again? In some ways - I hope we lose so he will have to act!!!

Usually the club with momentum will win the play offs. We are an absolute shambles!

I would even take fat Sam now short term and twist!!! It’s obvious Shan is out of his depth and actually feel sorry for him in a way!!

You can't blame Shan in that manner, when those ****ing dickheads are out on the pitch he has no control over them, until he can get his half time talk into them. He's done that for the last three games now. Those goals were an absolute mockery of professional people, I call them 'people' because I can't bring myself to relate to them as footballers.

People feeling sorry for Shan , & I feel a little sorry for him to , comes over a decent guy , but surely he could have said thank you but no thanks I don't want the first team coach job I'm happy where I am ? Not got a gun pointing at his head .

To be fair to Shan Johnny, like the rest of us he also probably thought it was for 1 or 2 games until a replacement was bought in so you can't blame him for wanting the experience as he seems a talented coach albeit currently at a lower level. I remember him saying his contract stated he was First Team Coach but he was happy to help where needed as he was employed by Albion. I just hope Jenkins doesn't use him as a scapegoat to mask the boards utter shambolic failings. Time will tell.

Its not 'obvious' in any way, shape or form that Shan is out of his depth. Such a knee jerk reaction to a couple of defeats.

Just like he wasn't the next Pep because he won his first 3 games.

Shan should take no blame whatsoever. And he's earned the right over 15 years of coaching our youth teams to be promoted to a senior position.

I understand and agree with the board getting stick, they sacked a manager without any forethought. But anyone criticising Shan, a bloke who has worked tirelessly for us behind the scenes for years on end on a pittance, defies belief.

Where's his ambition if he did that?

It’s not about “ambition” or at least it shouldn’t be.

I once went for a sales rep job with an internationally renowned sports company.

The “done thing” was to tell the Sales Director interviewing that you aspired to have his job in the future.

I knew my limitations.....I was a very good salesman but I knew that moving at the drop of a hat to a new place to live to fit a companies remit and all the politics at the level wouldn’t suit me.

I was 29 years old,a really prime candidate for the company and the sort that would be expected to “progress” through the ranks.

I knew I wasn’t suited for it and I told the gaffer that I would do a great selling job for him but that I had no interest in management and I wouldn’t move one inch geographically for the company.

This was the first of a three interview process.......a day later I got a call offering me the job that I gratefully accepted.

I’d impressed them with my brutal assessment of myself according to the top man and the Sales Manager.

With regards to Shan there is no shame in being brilliant with younger players or being more in the background.

Deep inside Shan will know if he’s “winging it”.......if he’s feeling crushed by the expectations and fronting a large organisation.

If anyone feels uncomfortable in their own skin doing a job or even being offered a position there’s nothing classier than holding your hands up or refusing the position.

Personally I’m still more of a salesman than anything else and although I have my own business I hate managing people so I let others do it for me on a daily basis and I just buy stock and arrange pricing and manage the cash flow.

I get more pleasure tidying my warehouse or doing some packing than I do with anything else.

I suspect Shan and DM would rather be in the warehouse with me.

    No shame in that.

Could not agree more Mick! Shan has already said publicly that he’s happy with his coaching staff. That tells you he does not want anyone to come in over him. All for ambition but if we f uck the play offs up - Shan will still be in a job whilst our club will go backwards.

I said from the word go - DM was out of his depth but to be replaced by Shan is an embarrassment. I hope we come unstuck on Saturday and Jenkins gets it in the neck!!!

    Shambles of a club!!!!!

Never met Jenkins, so no idea what the guy's really like. What is plain and obvious though, is that his role now is not as straightforward as when he was working for Peace. I expect that Peace gave him a free reign on a lot of issues, but he could be consulted easily when really difficult issues arose. Having your boss and his investors on the other side of the world can't be better than having him in the next door office.

Jenkins is renowned for being a complete b a s t a rd and hatchet man.

Loves his own “legend” by all accounts.

Make no mistake though.....he didn’t make decisions he was merely Peace’s glove puppet.

Peace was a c nut but called the shots for good or bad.
