We can all speculate, but the fact that you are speculating is demonstrated by the use of the word 'flee'. You have no idea what arrangements had been made for him to travel after the game

As for what Woodrow tweeted, you have no idea if he saw something himself or is simply relating assumption and hearsay.

I appreciate that Stendel is the Barnsley manager and Barton isn't, but why speculate and get so hot under the collar? Why not wait to see if anyone is actually charged and the outcome of any court proceedings? What are you achieving by posting?

Barton may not be a very nice chap, but he is entitled to a fair hearing just like anyone else.

Put it this way the team bus was still parked up when he attempted to flee the scene with his CEO , the very team bus he arrived on with his players .

Look I'm not going to lie when I say this but Daniel Stendel can get under the skin with his opposite numbers in the technical area .

The man is full on , kicks every ball , passionate , jumps up and down and is forever urging his players on .

Sometimes that's crossed in to his opponents space in the technical area , there is no malice intended the man is simply so enthusiastic and passionate it sometimes gets the better of him .

Once you factor in we are having a very successful season and winning well most weeks it could be irritating I guess .

We absolutely love his passion and enthusiasm , absolutely no way would we want to see him calm it down .

He's definitely got under Barton's skin , there's little doubt about that , we've massively outplayed them on both occasions this season knocking 7 goals past them .

I still get the feeling that the Police and the FA are trying to let the whole affair be diluted down.

Well I wouldn't have a problem with Barton having a very robust conversation with Stendel in the tunnel if he feels Stendel crossed a line , losing two teeth is however another matter altogether .

Fergie and Wenger were at it for years , called each other everything from a pig to a dog for well over a decade , the players fought like rats in a sack too with some unsavoury incidents .

Fergie and Wenger never took it to the level Barton allegedly did .

Stendel is relatively new to this country and maybe what goes on in Germany doesn't wash here and he's not come to terms with it yet , Klopp can be OTT and Wagner had similar issues at Huddersfield .

I'm sure however it's not done with malice , who in their right mind would pick a fight with Barton deliberately ? .

I think the timeline is a red herring
A Police officer prevented the car he was in from leaving, so why would she do that if the matter had been concluded?
If you look carefully at the footage the WPC was obviously looking for Barton & ran past the car he was in then realised or was alerted of his prescence in the car before instructing the driver not to proceed [finger waved from side to side]
I repeat "fleeing" is a reasonable conclusion to come to,don't you think?
