Bielsa was stupid to let the Vile score and should have concentrated on strategies - ie a player not to feature in further matches stamping on Grealish’s foot to end his season.
FFS - Grealish has not been booked for diving in the entire season and trying to injure a player to improve promotion chances is disgraceful. He is the most fouled player in the league, despite a lengthy layoff after playing your lot - I'm all for rivalry & banter but for the good of the game there has to be fair play. The real cheat is that w***er J Rod - I've a feeling at least one of the playoff games is going to be marred by p1ss poor officials - all to play for.
I don't really think any football supporter can accuse another teams player of cheating if they have handled the ball during play that leads to a goal. It goes on all the time across all divisions in every country and in the past its benefited Villa just as it worked against them with J Rods 'goal' by benefitting Albion.
FWIW, Kodjia was no less guilty of poor sporting conduct as he clearly attempted to disrupt Leeds play when there was clearly no reason for the ref to stop play as the player was not in danger. Big Sam was right on this as was Dean Saunders. Whatever went on after doesn't excuse this fact that he attempted to influence the ref to benefit his team AKA cheating. So get over it as any supporter who singles out only those incidents that they don't like is purely hypocritical.
To my mind, losing possession and then feigning injury to stop play is a far worse misdemeanour than handling the ball. The only way to cut it out is to play on unless the ref. stops the game. Seem obvious to me!
Well, Grealish is a diving ******* and cheating w**ker, if even he hasn’t been booked for it this season. Then, of course, there is an abundance of them in modern football, so he isn’t alone.
Feigning injury is for me much more cheating than handling the ball, and, there is also, sadly so, an abundance of players using that particular ”method”.
If he played for you would your tune change? Handling the ball is "less cheating" than feigning injury?!! Again if this were us playing you and the ball was handled into the goal by one of ours would you change your tune? Deafening silence over the point made by baggieal of stamping on his feet to get him injured for the playoffs and gain an advantage - thought you lot were better than that.
J Rod - against us for Southampton threw himself to the ground when there was no-one near him and the ref gave a pen, which he scored for the 3 points. I do agree that Grealish sometimes goes to ground too easily and Ashley Young had his fair share of critics including myself when he was with us. They do draw fouls too and Grealish is kicked all over the pitch, happened on his home debut as an 18 year old vs Hull - 3 bookings in the first 15 mins after he came on, all legit.
When he got sent off for diving 4 seasons ago against you - that's kind of my point, he dived and was booked yet he's accused of diving all the time and is never booked. No-one seems to care that a very talented footballer and potential future England lynchpin is getting clattered time & again.
But Grealish is always going to ground like a cheating Italian!!! My point was not to cause physical injury - but go in hard on him and take him out. Bit like the thug of a W anker called John Terry did almost every week!! Get the drift..... That’s tactical!
Horrible club with horrible supporters are the Vile - bit like Leeds!!! This is why nobody likes both clubs!!
So in summary - who gives a f uck about Grealish as he’s an immature cheating
W anker!! Soon he will be in a gutter again where he belongs - some role model to kids!
Many in the game disagree with you - he's got a big future ahead of him provided he doesn't get a leg-breaker. I take it you're referring to the pics of him intoxicated a few years ago with his mates - not the best decision he's made as a ****ager but a role model for kids, at 19, really?
I don't equate most footballers with being role models, many are not bright and Grealish is amongst them like Agbonlahor - and Lee Hughes!
Big club supporters tend to have big expectations, especially if you've been around to see success; as we get older we (hopefully) become wiser and perhaps realistic.
“Potential English lynchpin” my f king a r s e.
Hiding in the Championship at nearly 24 years old with a large number of more talented and world level 17-19 year olds breaking through at Prem and European club level.
13 goals in 7 years for Villa.
F u c k me......how will we English cope without “Plastic Englishman” diving Jack pulling the strings?
Maybe when he grows a set of b o l l o x and cuts the second division apron strings we can see how he copes against proper quality.
A lightweight, nonentity nomark at the present time.
