I enjoyed the semi win over Rangers as much as the next fan but the game was a farce. There was no tactical master plan in action there. We were incredibly sh1t & fortunate.

I am pretty certain not one of us was moaning about beating them either. It’s a clappies myth that we don’t want to win matches. They honestly are needing their heads examined if they think that us who strive for better, for some weird reason actually want us to lose.

I put it down as a deflection tactic by the clappies to try and deflect away from the reality that the club should be more ambitious.

Spot on,a wins a win especially when it comes to one of the cheeks at Hampden.

I really couldn't care, we won.

I take the view that in a cup game I couldn't care less how abysmal or turgid we play as long as we win (think how horrendous we played in the 1983 Scottish cup final, the 1990 Scottish cup final or the 2014 League cup final but who cares as we won each time).

Now the league, that is a different story as I would expect us to play attractive attacking football and only where necessary grind out a result.

Why the difference? Maybe it's because we will only ever win a cup in years to come so the result is everything, maybe it's because the huge majority of our games are league games and you want to get some enjoyment and entertainment from all the hours spent watching and travelling to games
