Forgot one. . ..... I’d get Jagielka. Age irrelevant. Cover, and Coach.

Good call Jules , unfortunately the powers that be can't see the logic of that kind of signing .

Older, Wiser, and a better player, scorer. Add him to Moore and Woodrow.

    Out.
Victor. ( Loan only). Ben Williams. (Loan again).
To leave, Davo, Cavare (unfortunately) Lindsay ( for me he can go)....
In..... Keeper to play second to Walton who I’d give a run of 8 games .... I’d like a two year contract for Bahre, and everyone else gets a new contract from the start of this coming season for two years.
He'd cost us mate , Peterborough always get top dollar for their strikers .

That said if the club are upping the ante then he's possibly a decent fit , ticks the spreadsheet boxes .

Outs for me - Green, Thiam, Fryers, Jackson and Victor (On Loan)

Ins - Toney, Joe Williams (permanent this time), Lyle Taylor (if Charlton don’t go up) or Tyler Walker, Ryan Williams, Nelson and Wilks.

They and their agents are waiting to see what wages are on offer at Barnsley compared to any wage offers they get from other clubs. That's top and bottom of it. Forget all the badge kissing and "tweets".

What I’d like to see more than anything is that we start the season with a squad that’s going to stay together ALL season. An addition of a player or two in January, rather than losses.
This seasons losses in January in terms of squad players was Luckily ridden out, but in next years mid term window we need to be selling none of our players. Decisions to offer contracts, and purchases made in the summer need to be made with a mind to having little or no change throughout the Whole Campaign

Retention is most important - no January stupidity. Ivan Toney has developed well & looks a handful, Malik Wilks, Simon Eastwood (if Adam leaves) & Jack Payne

Not that bothered about Jack Payne tbh. Didn't impress when I watched him play against us.

For me what I call the senior players i would let the following leave if out of contract or they are not happy with current deal / game time
    FRYERS
    CAVARE
    THIAM
    JACKSON
    ISGROVE
    HEDGES

A few U23's such as Victor, Ben, Green, Bird out on loan - assuming they are all under contract for next season

Would certainly take up Bahre option to sign a player developing well and i honestly think he will perform well in the Championship

So IMO we need urgent quality signings at

    RB
    LB
    CD
    WINGER
    STRIKER

Of course we can only speculate on who we will lose but any of our senior players who either want to jump ship for more £ and club agrees to cash in will need replacing so my guess is we could be looking at around 8-9 senior players leaving 6 mentioned above plus possibly Davies, Pinnock & Lyndsay. So come 3rd August, 10+ new senior players could be wearing a Barnsley FC shirt - bit frightening.....init!
