Not sure mista will agree, but I am sure he won’t begrudge Mason Bennett any success that now comes his way.

Where is he anyway? Never usually short of something to say and speaks more sense than many.

Loans to get fit but actually getting inured. This is his first season with more than 16 appearances and that total will probably be doubled. He's kept fit, played well and has the undying support of Frank Lampard. Looks like super sub is his best role at the moment and he is doing it well. As I said in eralier posts, he has been very lucky to have been kept on by a lot of managers. Most players with his history would have been let go long ago. No getting away from that.

The question is, why have so many gaffers decided to keep him on? I think the answer is a) potential b) an awesome mental attitude c) work rate and d) he doesn't cost much in todays terms so it's worth a gamble.

Look at the stats and most would agree with you, as do I, on the stats not being good at all. He has been incredibly lucky to still have the chance with us. Now he has had a good run of games, we are starting to see what was always there but completely underdeveloped due to all the injuries.

For many reasons I hope he can now continue to improve and become a player appreciated by all rather than the few as now is the case. Success for Mason would be an example to all in any walk of life that, whatever gets thrown at you, you keep on plugging away and you CAN get there.

MA he's not been fit this season he's had two spells out injured He's not appreciated by the few at all lots of fans really appreciate him I would love him to succeed but until he puts a few ninety minutes in I will reserve judgment Supersub is something you expect from a 31yr old not a 22yr old Agree with you he's improved this last few weeks but I'm not sure I would be wanting him to start a match But at the moment FL prefers him over Marriott so he may start over Waghorn he he doesn't make it
