Ach well, he has signed a deal with another team so be it. At least he didn’t sign for another team in our league (I never thought he would). If we had 11 players with the attitude of Graeme Shinnie when he played we would be in a far better place. I liked the lad as a Dons player and he was a good captain.
Ach good luck to him. Worst kept secret of last 6 months. Been a good servant & captain. Much better than his predecessor. He’d better pray Derby don’t get promoted though as not a hope he’s getting a game in the EPL.
Oh & AFC - let’s try & sign some actual decent players this summer as replacements instead of charlatans like Forrester & Gleeson eh?
Totally agree with the above. Don’t grudge Shinnie his move. Feared the longer it went on there was more of a chance of a move to them. Great captain. Massive boots to fill. I’d much rather sign a talented youngster from the Championship in Scotland than a chancer from the Championship in England.
Nae need to pish yer pants about him leaving.
It was always a high probability.
I understand the club did all they could, but we just couldn’t compete with a team at the top end of the championship.
Plenty folk on here reckoned he had signed a pre-contract with the Huns and that he knew it and the club knew it.
That was when I joined in saying not to count the chickens yet.
How can anyone possibly say that moving to a s'hithole like Derby is a good move for him?
Don't wish him any harm, he always gave his all.
But he chose to leave, so f'uck off and don't come back.
Got him on a free, leaves in a free. Good gig for him, never thought he would get a club at the high echelon of the championship, with a chance of the premiership.
Gave his all every game. We will miss his drive. Good luck loon.
