Facilities .….whats happening with all the empty commercial units around the stadium?

Ive asked the question regarding having a bar for season ticket holders run by volunteers sponsored by a local brewery holding matchday raffles and fund raising ….all the profit going to the academy.....this is a proven fund raiser at Oakwell (Redfearns Bar)I was told they were looking for a permanent solution....whats more permanent than season ticket holders ,"Once a Miller...…" we are not pop up supporters im sure it would be a success .The Ronnie Moore Bar

Brilliant idea, been crying out for something like that since the stadium opened, but im afraid bogs youre floggin a ded hoss.

I'm with you. He should have been barred years ago after that debacle at Chesterfield

All the units in the west stand are now full . The North west corner is still empty having a bar was mentioned again as it has has been before . I think there open too it but again it may come down to cash .. It would only profit on a matchday

I have a idea.. Make some kind of Petition up on for a bar on the North stand(the Ronnie Moore bar or whatever) (i am no good at stuff like that) then i can hand it in to the next forum . I am sure it will get alot of support .

If you think there would be a profit in such a venture, why don't you offer to rent the unit and set up the bar yourself? If you don't think there's a profit to be had, why would you want the club to do it?

You seem to be missing the point here pal !I don't want to make profit for myself ,I would want all profit to got the academy .Redfearns bar is used for other events when there is no football. Im sure Chantry Brewery would welcome the chance to supply a couple of pumps and cheap beer and Percy Turners pies - anythings better than our current caterers supply .
