Here's Oliver Norgrove writing in the Irish Times 20 March 2019 - Norgrove btw was a member of Vote Leave and a prominent Brexit intellectual: "As a former Brexit campaigner...I take the view that central to the unravelling of Brexit has been the Irish border...Those of us who made the case for leaving the EU did not sufficiently take into account the interests of Northern ireland nor indeed did we estimate the significance of the role played by the border within the Brexit negotiations."
I respect BigLad, Animal etc but ON was actually frigging advising politicians on the implications of Brexit before, during and after the referendum so I'll take his conclusion over theirs.
Sure it wasn't in the Journal of Socialist studies?

Of course it will not go away why would it? It was happening well before the EU was even thought of and will happen after we leave the EU but the bigger corps will not be the ones doing it anymore as hey will face harsh reprimands if they do.

So your argument that the Irish border issue was well digested and understood is evidence by one two paragraph article two days before the referendum vote? Really?

Workers only have to organise themselves , show solidarity to overcome exploitation but many choose not to .

Good luck to those waiting for government or EU regulation to come to their rescue .

Only one way to fight exploitation , history points the way forward .

Over the past three decades or so the Tories have clipped the wings of the Trades Unions deregulated just about anything that could have been deregulated, created the conditions of let the market decide, clipped the powers of local authorities in enforcement terms
gave free rein to business to almost do as they like, not bothered to any significant degree ensuring that taxes due by the business/corporate world are fully paid, selling off most of our utilities even the Post Office & here we are today
It will take monumental effort to put things right but we should start the process

Dont get me started on Blair's New Labour. Never should have had the word Labour associated with it.
