In my opinion, by sacking DM they should have had a manager lined up and ready to go then at that stage of the season. Right now, its the off season so I don't think waiting it out in June is a big issue, as long as they appoint the right person...is my view on it.

And I'm not bothered if they go down the expensive route or not, its not all about money in this league. Ask Norwich and Sheff Utd.

I don't think so, i don't think Lai is a mug at all, mugs don't become billionaires before they are 40.
Look at Abramovich, he always has that senile smile on his face like someone who has just p!$$ed his pants, but he's far from a mug.
It appears Lai has no interest in the footballing side of the club at all, last summer we could have gone for Dean Smith, Graham Potter or Lee Johnson, but instead we went for good old DM, the Hoss Cartwright of football managers.
Swansea had Potter, and now the big Albion have signed him. Just forget where Smith ended up.
We still have Jimmy Shan.

So, if Lai has no ambition for the club why would he pay more than twice the value for us?
Does anyone know what Albion's assetts are, how much land we own etc?

Very worrying.

We have to thank Mr Peace for finding us the right person to take us on just like he promised.

Are you saying Des the land could be sold off to rebuild a huge cash and carry chinky or something!

On a serious note - plenty of billionaires have been burnt but depending on wealth - it’s no big deal to write off some investments which could effectively become a tax fiddle. I honestly think Peace sold this little man right up the river - more so now the club are in free fall! Bet the value would be 100 million at most now!

Bet there’s a brain storming meeting in China to decide the best way to get their investment back - Rondon - Parachute cash - Dawson - Jay Rod - reduce payroll and where are you Jimmy - the jobs all yours mate 😭
