Wow, another thread hammering ladies football?
I think that the ladies World cup and ladies fotball in general is at a lower skill level, slower and less entertaining than the mens game but that doesn't mean that it's bad.
The commentators are of a lesser skill as well and the use of men in the comms is probably down to them having more experience and is needed if the ladies game and the mens games are going to compete for the same audience.
It's a bit like when a famous brand changes the recipe and you know it's not the same anymore.
I think that it should be on main stream tv and I hope that it attracts a big enough audience to support its growth. I'd love for my girls to be interested in football but it's either part of you or isn't andthe free time it gives me is lovely.
Jocks, would you agree that the BBC and others have to learn from the mens game and the supporters of the mens game to progress? I once heard a radio presenter saying that a high ranked FIFA official had said that wearing bikinies would attract more supporters watch.
