    Older people and technology.

What is it with them every time there is some kind of beep whether it's a phone, on the TV or the cooker telling you your chicken should be ready? Every little sound and it's 'Oh is that someones phone?... Whose phone's that?... Where's my phone?... Is that my phone?... Have you got your phone?...Is that an Ipod?'

Has anyone tried to explain the difference between 4G and WiFi to an older relative? Wow!

I’ve spent about 10 years trying to explain the difference between the WiFi’s, the Hotmail’s & the Facebooks. Every single time I see them. This usually involves setting new passwords every time. This is made a hundred times worse by the fact the two of them are deaf as posts

Ah don't get me started with passwords for the older generation.

My mum wont use her name in an email (that I will have to set up for her) so she ends up with something absolutely ridiculous like [email protected]

Utter madness but she wont listen.

Don’t trust anything that has the word cloud in it.
    Turn it all off

You're absolutely right. I finished Edward Snowdens book not so long ago and it's scary some of the stuff they get up to. Some of the analysts took stalking exes to a different level.

I didn't have to read anything, the word itself suggests foul play to me.

I knew a guy once who worked for a company that analysed the information that could be gleaned from store loyalty cards.

Tell them nothing my man, tell them nothing.

The Joe Rogan podcast with Edward Snowden is worth a watch / listen:
