The Aussies gave most of their wickets away cheaply in fairness rather than good bowling. We let the Aussie opening batsmen off the hook with some poor bowling in the first 20 odd overs. The conditions were perfect for early wickets, humid and overcast and we didn't capitalise on it. Shyte.

Flat track bullies better posting a score than chasing one because they can't handle score board pressure. it's the same when playing test cricket bat second and we lose it's that simple.

Now the top 3 can throw games against Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh because they'd rather face them than England.

Why would any of the top teams not want to play us though, surely they are better than us and we're going to be the worst of the 4 if we do manage to finish in the top 4.

Maybe, but that inconsistency and sheer 'bottlers' part of our game is showing through again right now.
If we go through and have to face any of the top 3 again in the Semis, we'd have to do very well in order to beat them when it matters.

Its still our national team though Roma, and its a World cup in our own back garden. I had high hopes we'd do well in this and its turned out to be disappointing so far. However, nothing is established until the teams reach the Semi finals stage.

It's too early to write us off. Too much hype as per usual leading up to the tournament, nowt new theear, it's what we do in this country, build em up then tear em to pieces. Same shyte different spooart. Av sed it afooar, there's no great teams in this tournament, nowt really to fear in my opinion. Wiv still a chance if we can get some confidence guin.
