Id go along with all of that Pass, but our last 3 group games were/are against the top 3 teams like Australia, New Zealand, & India.
And we choked big time didn't we against the Aussies. So where does that leave our chances of finishing 4th ?.

If we aspire to be world champions then we shouldn't be worried about taking anyone on. Instead of bottling it the players should rise to the occasion in these kind of fixtures.

Unfortunately if you play straight you'd probably finish on 150 for 0.
50 over scores have doubled in the last 20 years with so many cross bat shots.

Teks away excitement anorl. I'm a fan of some of the ingenuity they can conjure up these days although it's more seen in 20twenty rather than 50 over game.

That may or not be correct ? Bairstow IMO , spoke the truth regarding ,how our Nation loves to knock any of our National teams
At any event /sportswise , he is far from being perfect himself , I remember a Tarn centre bike race which he attended ( why ?) In the following interview , he was asked how good it was for Barnsley in General to have this event , he replied along the lines good , " they won't ever have a premiership team again tho , then laughed " total bellend

I don't think that's necessarily true Roma , I believe we have a problem when the talent is there and we don't turn up .

This England cricket team reminds me of the football teams golden generation who spectacularly failed at major tournaments despite having some seriously good players .

The fact of the matter is we are the home nation and ranked number one in the world and struggling to qualify for the semi finals because they lost very winnable games .

Ain't anybody going to get away with that and not get criticised .

We all want them to fill their potential and put some pride back in the nation because we bloody well need it right now with what's going on .

Well it's do or die today against India , nothing but a win will do now .

Talk of Jason Roy back despite a big risk he could break down and miss the rest of the tournament , similar concerns with Jofra Archer .

Yes it's come to this , however I understand the gamble .

Let's hope we come through today and playing at Edgbaston is definitely a good ground for us historically .

    Best of luck lads .
