Agree that this appointment has been getting publicity and is raising the profile of the club. That's a terrific step forward and answers a lot of the criticism levelled at FPS. Seems to me if you can point to some players coming through the system at the end of last season, that's true, and if you want to attract someone of the stature of Gordon Strachan you need to make sure that he is given the opportunity to deliver the vision that he has for youth coaching. If the objective is to produce youth players who are capable of going on the become full time professional players I really don't see any flaw in the approach. Makes sense to me.
