Ladapo looks a good signing, good to see Proctor back playing.
Attendance announced as 1536 but looked like more than that.
Onwards and Upwards....Germany here we come.

Looked a hell of a lot more than that 2k + i would have said .Easy win good work out and played with 10 men for the last 25 mins buzzing for Wimbledon now.

Dint we only win 1 nowt last season? If it weren't for Tony Stewart, Parkgate might be our fiercest league rivalry..

My two peneth on the new lads:

Barlaser...... neat, tidy, comfortable on the ball. Has an eye for a pass.

MacDonald...... everything I'd hoped he'd be. Calm and very assured in possession. No frills, no dramas, just show for it, get it and give it. I like him. Plus a ginger in that heat 😕

Lamy........ not sure as I dont think I saw enough. Caught in possession a couple of times then went off injured.

Morris ...... biggest disappointment for me. Not sure whether he thinks hes a target man or a second striker. Hope this isnt a waster signing.

Ladapo...... this fella has got tude. Big tude. In abundance. Gold boots. Constant snear. A swagger. In his head, hes the man. I dont mind any of that as long as he delivers. On yesterday's showing, I think he will. Hes quick and likes the foot over the ball trick to beat a man.

Olosunde......... brilliant. Admittedly not tested defensively but going forwards the was excellent. Fast doesnt even come close. He just gobbles the ground up.

Can't have been more than 1450 because that's the ground safety limit.

A quick word for the Parkgate keeper. He wAs brilliant, despite the score line. Certainly good enough to play for money.

I went a few years ago when they announced a gate of 2000 and there were far more there yesterday. Strange that they announced it as a record crowd?

Gkotw, have to agree pretty much on all your assessments, added to that

Crooks to me looks in fine fettle and his coolness on the ball might be a real asset this season. Very much the one to watch for me.

Thought Vas looked good too. If he stays fit think he could cause defences serious problems. Likes to come short for the ball, turn and drive which was sorely missed last season. Need to get defences turned and he is very capable of that.

Ike although never under too much pressure is getting better and better.

Wood- unfortunately he’s gone even at league one level. Can’t do the simple passes which inevitably will catch you out in big games.

    Wiles is class!

My overall feeling on paper we have a very good midfield and enough to be top 6.

Think we definitely need a left sided player/ winger for balance.

Keeper is a must (which will happen)

All in all a good run out but it’s only Parkgate (no offence) bigger tests to come.

Oh and have to also agree with comment about Parkgate’s keeper, very assured and his kicking was pretty much faultless.

Pot calling the kettle black .

Apparently it was happening at Millmoor for years with fans being allowed to jump over the turnstiles

Then we shafted the taxman again a few times for good measure
