Yep take your point Grist. Still at the end of the day a great turnout by millers fans and a good sign of belief for next season. Lets hope the lads can deliver.

Yes excellent turnout, just goes to show what a bit of new blood can do to lift the fans.

Maybe some recruitment in the last January transfer window might have given us that little lift that could have turned draws into wins and we would have avoided the drop.

    Who knows?

Yep I know we've not kicked a ball yet but I can't help feeling we were due a bit of a turnover last season and things were getting a bit stale with the old guard probably for the players as much as the fans. New kids on the block now with a bit of hunger in their bellies so lets see if we can go again.

All of the players who have left are reasonably replaceable certainly in this league and we could very well get better so we shouldn't be too despondent about them going

From about February onwards the squad looked flat, tired and predictable, with some players (like Smith) playing with definite injuries, something that a couple of signings in January might have avoided.

Can’t really say much about friendlies but Proctor was trying too hard for me and I didn’t think too much of McDonald and Wiles is way better than that (what did Warney shout?.. something about lazy **** ) but like I’ve said...

Record turnout,(we didn’t go through main turnstiles so probably more in than what was actually said, good money maker that should see Parkgate through season
