But running America is like driving for Mercedes. You have to really fc uk it up to lose. If you hit the right "cycle" you could be rubbish and slow growth down but the USA is a large ship to sink.

Beautiful Boris moment in tonight's Andrew Neil interview. Classic:
    ----------------------------------------
{asked about the detail of the GAT clauses)

BJ: Paragraph 5B. Article 24. Get the detail right. Get the detailright,Andrew. It’sArticle 24 paragraph 5B.

AN: And how would you handle paragraph 5C?

BJ: I would confide entirely in paragraph 5B, because that is

AN: How would you get round what’s in 5C?

BJ: I would confide entirely in paragraph 5B which is enough forour purposes.

AN: Do you know what’s in 5C?

    BJ: No.

AN: I thought you were a man of detail.

BJ: Well, you didn’t even know whether it was an article or a paragraph, but–

AN: But that’s not the details you told those Tory hustings ...

BJ: There’s enough in paragraph 5B to get us the agreement that we want.

AN: No.5C says you don’t just need the EU’s approval; you need to agree with the EU the shape of a future trade agreement ...
    —--------------—------------------

And he's our national leader, and taking us into renewed brexit negotiations?

    Jeez

He's not interested in the detail Raging because he's no intention of securing a deal , there isn't one so why waste your time .

The EU ain't going to move and parliament won't pass the deal that's on the table .

As much as I detest the fecker at least he'll take us out which is what we voted to do .

If the Labour Party had any sense of seizing the moment then Corbyn would be gone and replaced by someone who can take the country forward outside of the EU under WTO and actually trounce the Tories at the next election .

Sticking with North London's finest just hands the country's future to Johnson Mogg and the rest of the ERG .

Sit back and hope the country's going to come towards Corbyn ?

Ain't going to happen Raging .

I bet you 20 to 1 that Corbyn when put on the spot would not know Paragraph 23 of the fisheries act because it is not possible to know every Paragraph of every act.

If Paragraph 5B of Article 24 is all we need to focus on why would you need anything else.

    *shakes head in disbelief.

But don't you think that knowing 5c is pretty important? What good is a thorough knowledge of 5b without the detail of 5c??

Animal, not only is Corbyn working under the constraint that 80% of party members support a referendum and most remain from there, but if we were to replace Corbyn, who do you think would get elected to leader under a wto ticket? Who would elect him /her?

Maybe just maybe he does what all other party leaders do and get advice from specialists in that department who advise him that no other Paragraph in that article conflicts with 5b.

I would love to hear Corbyn quote every part of the fisheries act if only paragraph 3a of article 20 is what was up for discussion.
