I don't agree with that at all. I've moaned many times about Clark playing #10 instead of Smith for a start.

For me Clark should now be cover for Shankland...even more so IF we get a physical striker in or Sow does start to click....he has scored important goals for us last season but imo his all round game is lacking something??
As for Smith again never been impressed when he has played being honest??

but he's never played as a number 10, RN has always played him wide

I thought he did play there in one game, the one that finished his season!

He played there against Patrick a few seasons back, first time he was here. Scored a hat trick...

Fair comment, I was generalizing. The real positive is we have enough to win this league. But in saying that Robbie really needs to find his best 11, play them every week until they start clicking better. I think we'll be better when Harkes comes back in.

No worries. Honestly I don't think we are going to see a side hammering anyone this season. All evidence suggests Robbie is happy to build a team that's really hard to score against and gets (all be it narrow) results.

Well I am not happy with that. We have a 30 plus goal a season man so we need to attack and give him some service! Let's start with the 3 behind the 1 playing 20 yards further up the pitch and ffs start leaving people up at corners. Push other teams back and make back 6 job easier.

Agree. I’m letting slide the fact that hearts game is still essentially pre season. Bt given about 7 of the players played together last year we still looked very disjointed, and our inherent inability to string together 3 passes without losing the ball still appears to be one our main weakness.

Indeed, which is why I really don't think we're going to be to much different from last season. To be fair, if we continue the points gathering started under Robbie we'll probably win the league and who can't be happy about that?
