Was he rubbish when he negotiated with Cardiff on the sale of Will Vaulks or the wages negotiated to sign Freddie Ladapo?

Where is this big list of clubs prepared to pay £4M for Semi Ajayi ?
Where have I said that he was rubbish?

I am just pointing out that Paul Douglas negotiates for the club, according to the man himself anyway, and obviously has executive responsibility for agreeing transfer fees, wages etc. Presumably he is given a range that is acceptable to the club but his remit is to negotiate and conclude the deal.
For what it's worth, I'm surprised we've sold Ajayi so early in the transfer window as it's possible other clubs may have joined the race for him.
You have to conclude therefore that the sale is for operational reasons to allow Warne to find replacements (yes plural) for Ajayi and, maybe most significantly, that the fee agreed was within the range acceptable to the club.

Apologies mellow, my “ rubbish “ remark was aimed at someone else.
Paul Douglas can only negotiate the terms that the club allows him to, no more no less.
Stand by what I said “ Why make Paul Douglas a scapegoat like someone on here has.
