Also, I don't like the idea of increased CCTV. The only ground improvements done seems to be to place the supporter under more scrutiny with these Orwellian authoritarian measures.
Actually I wonder if what's really going on here is that they're burying a change of security policy under a cloak of getting it up the Ugly Sisters.

"Look everyone" they shout, "we're cutting the Ugly Sisters ticket allocation"... in more sinister undertones though, "...but we're also increasing surveillance and we're not telling you what exactly what we'll be looking for with this increased CCTV"...Chunts

I wouldn't go that far. There has been plenty of incidents over the last few seasons where they have been stuck trying to identify someone from the away end due to dodgy quality video images. The bit of seat hitting someone in S, pretty sure there was a bottle thrown across not too long ago. So a shiny, new CCTV system isn't a great surprise.

However I don't believe for a second that they wouldn't be just as quick to identify someone from the home section. What actual behaviour they will use it to crack down on is a different question.

It was good before the whole mess with herding the singing section in to the merkland. It takes a lot to get section S going these days in my opinion. Seems to be a lot of day trippers in S lately with season ticket holder numbers down.

Whether the club backs it or not I would say just make S the unofficial singing section and encourage the more rowdy support to take seats there again. The standing thing is a mute point as everyone stands there anyway and no one really minds.

Hopefully they'll use this new CCTV system to spot all the Huns and Tims that will be infiltrating the home end in the wake of the reduction. Every action has a reaction and all that....

I enjoyed the days they had the Beach End and we had the Broomloan lower or the huge standing terrace behind the goals (although not directly) at Porkheid.

Sprinklers on last night at Kingsford, looking good.

Still a huge area in the east part of site not developed. Maybe that’s where the indoor facility will be situated, in years to come.

Stadium area now totally cleared. Although, those apparently in the know say that part will never happen. 😂😂😂😂👍

I did as well as a youth and adolescent. I'm now a boring "mute" middle aged man and my opinion has altered appropriately.

Parkhead was better than Ibrox imho. Started off just in the mainer seats, then a wee wedge of the terracing then about a third of what became the away end with the big no man's land in the middle.

    Good times.
